Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Brandy Cask Finish is a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that combines Woodford Reserve’s signature bourbon character with the rich fruit and elegant sweetness imparted by brandy casks.
After its initial maturation in new charred oak barrels, the bourbon receives additional finishing time in brandy casks, adding layers of ripe orchard fruit, dried fruit, caramelized sweetness, and warming spice while preserving the depth of Woodford Reserve’s traditional whiskey profile.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Rich and inviting with caramel, vanilla, baked apple, ripe pear and dried fruit, accented by toasted oak, cinnamon, cocoa, and subtle brandy sweetness.
Palate: Luxurious layers of dark caramel, creamy vanilla and brown sugar develop into dried cherry, raisin, baked apple, toasted nuts, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and seasoned oak. The brandy cask contributes a beautifully rounded fruit character and silky sweetness.
