Description

Pierre Henri Gadais is a French family winegrower best known for crisp Muscadet from the western Loire Valley, whose range also includes wines from sunnier southern French sources. Garrigue Sauvage is a red made from Grenache Noir, named for the wild, herb-scented scrubland of southern France, and crafted in a fresh, fruit-forward style.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Ripe strawberry, raspberry, red plum and dried Provençal herbs. Palate: Medium-bodied and supple, with juicy red fruit, soft tannins, a touch of pepper and savory herbs. Finish: Smooth and moderately long, with lingering spice.

Pair with grilled sausages, lamb kebabs, ratatouille, pizza or roast chicken with herbs.
