Lunazul Primero Cristalino Añejo Tequila is a premium expression crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, combining the rich complexity of an aged tequila with the remarkably smooth, crystal-clear character of a Cristalino.
The tequila is aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels before undergoing an eight-stage reverse-filtration process. This carefully controlled filtration removes the color while retaining much of the mature flavor and character developed during barrel aging. The result is a brilliantly clear tequila with a silky texture and an elegant balance of cooked agave, caramel, citrus, spice, and oak.
Designed primarily as a sipping tequila, Lunazul Primero Cristalino can be enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube, while its smooth profile also works beautifully in elevated tequila cocktails.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet vanilla, caramel, tropical fruit, delicate floral notes, and subtle toasted oak.
Palate: Silky and full-bodied with cooked agave, caramel, citrus, cinnamon, gentle spice, oak, and a distinctive touch of eucalyptus.
