Barrell Cigar Blend Bourbon is a complex, cask-strength expression created for slow sipping and designed to complement the richness of a fine cigar. This sophisticated release combines straight bourbons aged between 7½ and 18 years, sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.
The mature bourbons are finished in Madeira, Armagnac, rum and Hungarian oak casks. Each finishing component contributes an additional layer of dark fruit, sweetness, spice and mature wood character, resulting in a powerful yet beautifully composed whiskey.
Bottled at 111.2 proof, Barrell Cigar Blend offers an intensely aromatic profile, a rich palate-coating texture and a long, evolving finish. It is equally compelling enjoyed on its own or paired with a medium-to-full-bodied cigar.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Toffee, pipe tobacco and dusty cedar mingle with walnuts, leather, dried fruit and freshly baked pastries.
Palate: Rich layers of dark caramel, molasses and vanilla develop alongside ripe pear, persimmon, raisins, toasted nuts and sweet baking spices. Notes of tobacco, cocoa, leather and seasoned oak provide remarkable depth.
Finish: Long, warming and luxurious with lingering dark fruit, walnut, caramelized sugar, pipe tobacco and dry oak spice.
