Description

Gérard Bertrand, a former rugby player turned winemaker, has become one of the leading figures of southern France, building a family of estates across Languedoc-Roussillon with a strong commitment to biodynamic and organic farming. Blanc Trouble, French for "cloudy white," is one of his more experimental bottlings: a white wine left unfined and unfiltered, so it keeps a natural haze and a fuller, more textured character in the glass.

Tasting Notes: Nose: lemon, yellow apple, white flowers and a touch of yeasty bread. Palate: fresh and lightly textured, with citrus, pear and a saline, mineral edge. Finish: crisp, dry and slightly savory.

Serve chilled (gently invert the bottle beforehand to mix the natural sediment) with oysters, grilled vegetables, goat cheese or Mediterranean dishes.

French unfiltered white wine · dry
