Description

Feudi di San Gregorio, founded in 1986 in Irpinia and owned by the Capaldo family, is Campania's most prominent ambassador for native grapes and has devoted years of study to mapping the region's best vineyard sites. Cutizzi is a single-vineyard Greco di Tufo from a prized site in the Tufo area, where volcanic and sulfur-rich soils give the grape exceptional minerality. Bottled as a Riserva, it is given extended aging on its lees for added depth and texture.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Ripe peach, yellow apple and candied lemon with notes of flint, chamomile and toasted almond. Palate: Full and textured, with concentrated stone fruit, vibrant acidity and a powerful mineral, saline core. Finish: Long and precise, with lingering citrus peel and a hint of smoke.

Pair with lobster, seared scallops, roasted white fish or creamy risotto; serve lightly chilled to show its complexity.
