Created to commemorate 25 years of Clase Azul México, this extraordinary limited-edition tequila combines an exceptionally crafted spirit with one of the brand’s most collectible decanters.
The tequila pays tribute to the iconic Clase Azul Reposado, reimagined by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco. A portion of the Blue Weber agave is milled using a traditional tahona stone, while an extended fermentation enhances the tequila’s fruit and citrus character. The blend is then aged for eight months in two different first-use American whiskey casks, developing remarkable depth while retaining the rich agave character of the original Reposado.
The presentation is equally impressive. This release features Clase Azul’s first decanter completely finished in its signature cobalt blue, decorated with feather-like motifs inspired by dandelion seeds carried by the wind. Twenty-five brushstrokes are hand-painted in platinum, representing each year of the brand’s history. The release was limited to 9,125 individually numbered decanters, making it a highly desirable piece for Clase Azul collectors.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Agave syrup, ripe banana, toasted coconut, vanilla and caramel layered with apple, chocolate, malted grain and polished wood.
Palate: Luxurious notes of caramel, creamy vanilla, almond and sweet agave are complemented by banana and subtle oak.
Finish: Long and refined with toasted oak, cocoa and a delicate earthy minerality.
