Description

Paringa Estate was founded by Lindsay McCall, who planted his first vines on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula in the mid-1980s and went on to earn a reputation as one of Australia's finest Pinot Noir producers. The Peninsula's cool, maritime climate allows Pinot Noir to ripen slowly while keeping its perfume and freshness. The Peninsula Pinot Noir is the estate's approachable expression, made from Mornington Peninsula fruit and matured in French oak.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Red cherry, raspberry, violets and a hint of forest floor. Palate: Silky and medium-bodied, with bright red fruit, subtle spice and fine-grained tannins. Finish: Fresh and savory, with lingering cherry and a touch of oak.

Pairs beautifully with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto or charcuterie; serve slightly cool.
