Description

Bodega Noemía was founded in Patagonia's Río Negro Valley by Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano and Danish winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers, who set out to revive old, ungrafted Malbec vineyards in this remote region. The estate's flagship Noemía is made from a tiny parcel of very old, ungrafted Malbec vines planted in 1932, farmed biodynamically, and is regarded as one of Argentina's finest wines.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Black cherry, plum, violet, graphite and sweet spice. Palate: Concentrated yet elegant, with layers of dark fruit, cocoa, earth and silky, polished tannins. Finish: Very long and refined, with lingering mineral and floral notes.

Decant and serve with prime beef, braised lamb or game; a collector's wine that rewards cellaring.
