Description

Sazerac’s Caribou Crossing was -  designed to reinvent the Canadian whisky category. This 80 proof whisky — the first single-barrel Canadian whisky since the 19th century — is aged in oak barrels and was selected from over 200,000 barrels by Master Blender Drew Mayville. This Canadian whisky is bottled twice a year (in the spring and fall) at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky.A new Canadian Whisky as bold and adventurous as the great Caribou who roam the wild. Caribou Crossing is a Canadian Whisky unequaled by any other.

Radiantly-hued nectar with a nod to the tantalizing silky texture provided by the barrel. The rye grain cuts through the wood flavors making its spicy presence known without risking the creamy vanilla custard smoothness. The finish is oak with an orangey tang.

Delay and broken bottle

I ordered this bottle for Fathers Day. Shipping was delayed so it arrived afterwards even though I paid extra to expedite and the antlers were broken on the bottle.
