francois-voyer-extra-grande-champagne-cognac-700ml
François Voyer Extra Grande Champagne Cognac 700ml

François Voyer is a family-owned Cognac house in Grande Champagne, the most prestigious cru of the Cognac region, where chalky soils produce eaux-de-vie of exceptional finesse and aging potential. The family grows its own Ugni Blanc grapes, distills on site and ages its spirits slowly in French oak, bottling under its own name rather than selling to the large houses. The Extra is a blend of very old Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, showing the depth and rancio complexity that only long aging can bring.

Tasting Notes: Nose: candied orange, dried apricot, fig, beeswax and old leather with hints of rancio.
